Today, we officially turned on the heat for winter. I’m getting dressed lately for snowy days ahead.

A friend at work told me about boo baskets trending on social media. Basically, you make a basket for your favorite boo. Boo in the US is slang for favorite best friend or lover. I decided to make boo baskets for my kids and bought my family some Dunkin Donuts for Sunday breakfast as we do live in New England and Dunkin is everywhere here. So, I filled the basket for my daughter with watercolor paints and brushes and art paper. The one for my son has things for his new vehicle now that he can drive.

There are a few other comfort things in the baskets like flannel blankets and scentsies for cinnamon apple or hot cinnamon rolls. Add maybe a little gift card. You can decorate them with autumn colors and flowers with ribbon or autumn signs.

I’m really grateful for days like these. Life is good. We are blessed. Wishing you all a wonderful Fall.
