You will know a defendant’s mindset by their body language.

In a court show, a defendant may ask for clemency or mercy.

1. If the defendant only faces the judge and makes the case, he or she is not repentant of the crime but only seeks to minimize punishment.

2. If the defendant, faces the person bringing the case forward and asks for mercy or an apology…they are aware of their action but not fully aware of the impact.

3. If the defendant faces the children involved and apologizes to them too for its impact on their future and their lives…..ok, then finally, the defendant is being sincere and may deserve mercy.

The people most impacted and damaged are the children, although it is rarely acknowledged how it will affect their present and future state of mind and life.

People need to understand the long-term consequences of their actions.

What Hera did to Leto caused Apollo and Artemis to become as they were. What Herrod did to Mary caused Jesus to become as he was. What happened to Hannah brought forth Samuel and what happened to Hagar brought forth Ishmael.

We got fighting in the Middle East over things that started a very, very long time ago where true apologies and true accountability were never made to both mothers and their children.
